Note #1: You can dine-in here, so it's not just takeout. There are tables. Note #2: Judging from the circled-backslash symbol at the top right of their takeaway menu, there is no MSG in their food. At first I thought they had something against the Michael Schenker Group. Michael Schenker Busters! youtube.com/watch?v=lCm3… I kid...the metal and Michael, despite his moodiness and difficulty to work with. Meanwhile, back at the ranch... I can't believe my first and possibly last (obligatory?) China House review is of this Chippewa location. Man, China House is pervasive, assuming they are a chain of course. In case you don't know, I'm talking about the places with the yellow sign and red lettering you see in damn near every town in Western PA and perhaps beyond? How was it? The General Tso's, which was served with Pork Fried Rice, wasn't half bad. It was tender and sweet like it should be. The Steamed Dumplings however lacked flavor, and the potstickers themselves tasted a little undercooked. Another star must be deducted for the Shrimp Toast. They burned it. Yup. Am I too nice? Here I was wondering what these dark brown triangles were. "That's your Shrimp Toast, babe," says the girlfriend, who picked up the tab this time. I had always wanted to try it too. Bummer. They do serve it up fast, though. We called, took a ride over, and it was ready. All in about ten minutes.

Very bad. It was cold in the dining room, very bad atmosphere, felt unfriendly, cashier hard to understand, and there were a bunch of little kids running around . they were the staffs kids too. Food was very good however so 2 stars

I think I could eat Chinese food (takeout or eat in) almost daily! This little place in Chippewa is fairly easy to miss across form the large WalMart plaza consuming everything in its way, but it's worth the scavenger hunt. Yesterday Mom got me to pick up our meal. I grumbled at having to change from my comfy PJ's, but just threw on a jacket and crocks and braved my fashion for the dinner. I ordered my usual. Yes, I DO have a place I visit enough to have a "usual". It's my cashew shrimp and a shrimp egg roll. The shrimp is combined with cashews (obviously), water chestnuts, baby corn, and vegetables in a brown sauce. The vegetables are always crunchy and the sauce tangy. The shrimp is large and not skimpy in the least but plentiful. As for the egg roll, I am very picky as this is one of my favorite foods over all. This one is cooked to perfection. Crispy outside that isn't saturated with grease, and flavorful on the inside. You can even taste the shrimp! The preparation time is quick. We ordered food for 3 people and it was ready in 10 minutes. I have often ordered my meal from here while halfway home from work and it's ready to get once I reach Chippewa. The biggest reason I'd go to the Hot Dog Shoppe next door instead is to use the drive thru. But at least China House doesn't care when I show up in my bed clothing.

Fast and friendly. They get business done! It's your typical chinese place. I really enjoy the fried rice and egg rolls. The food is always super hot and fresh.

Best Chinese food I have had, and I have tried many places. In the past my one complaint was the egg rolls had a certain spice that tasted like soap. Tonight the egg rolls were awesome, they must no longer use that particular spice. The General Tsos was crispy on the outside and tender inside. The pork mei fun was full of pork and egg, not just noodles. Generous portions! Give it a try and you will become a regular!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
